Help with algebra please?

The Team A scored 13 more points than Team B. The total of their scores was 47. How many points did Team A score?

A. 30
B. 7
C.15

You need to find something that equals 47:

30-13= 17

17+17+13= 47

Team A scored "A" 30 points.
