The first clue is in the shape - I have never heard of any other part of body being desrcribed as "bean-shaped" - it's kidneys! The function of kidnes is indeed to filter the blood. People who don't have functioning kidneys need to do dialysis, that is their blood is filtered in th hospital. The answer is kidneys!
