What is 230 in scientific notation

2.30 x 10^2.

In scientific notation you want to make the number between 1 to 10. So I moved the decimal two places to the left to make 230 into 2.30 I wrote this as x 10^2, the power stands for the number of places you moved the decimal, and you have to write  " x 10" following your number.
