If (1, 2) and (3, 4) lie on the same line, give the slope-intercept equation of the line.

The slope of the line is  (4-2) / (3-1) = 2/2 = 1 
y - y1 = x - x1 
here x1 = 1 and y1 = 2 :-
y - 2 = x - 1
y = x + 1 <---- Answer
