c=11
b=8
a=?
So do c^2-b^2=a^2
11^2=121
8^2=64
121-64=57
And the squareroot of 57=7.5498344353

Law of Cosines:

[tex]a= \sqrt{b^2+c^2-2bc \cdot cos(A)} \\ b=8, \ \ c=11, \ \ \angle A=32.2^o \\ \\ a= \sqrt{8^2+11^2-2\cdot 8 \cdot 11 \cdot cos(32.2^o)} \\ a= \sqrt{64+121-176*0.8462} \\ a= \sqrt{185-148.93} \\ a= \sqrt{36.07} \approx 6[/tex]
