The specific heat of the gold is 1.67 (=125/(3*(43-18)) joule/ gram oC based on its heat energy, change in temperature and mass. This problem can be solved using the heat energy formula which stated as Q=c*m*(deltaT). In this formula, Q is the heat energy, c is the specific heat, m is the object's mass, and deltaT is the change in the temperature of the reaction.
