The shape will be divided into two rectangles.

Area of rectangle = length * width

Ist rectangle:

Length = 13 in

width = 4 in

Area of 1st triangle = 13 × 4 = 52 in²

2nd rectangle:

length = 15 in

width = 10 in

Area of 2nd rectangle = 15 × 10 = 150 in²

Area of the shape = area of 1st rectangle + area of 2nd rectangle

Area of the shape = 52 + 150

Area of the shape = 202 in²
