Let the consecutive integers be x , x + 1)

The sum of the consecutive integers is 151, i.e

[tex]x+(x+1)=151[/tex]

Open the bracket and solve for x

[tex]\begin{gathered} x+x+1=151 \\ 2x+1=151 \\ \text{Collect like terms} \\ 2x=151-1 \\ 2x=150 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 2} \\ \frac{2x}{2}=\frac{150}{2} \\ x=75 \end{gathered}[/tex]

If x is 75, then the consecutive integer will be

[tex]x+1=75+1=76[/tex]

Hence, the consecutive integers, x, (x + 1) are 75 and 76
