How does emissions of carbon dioxide impact climate change?

Answer:

The carbon emissions trap solar energy in the atmosphere which causes global temperatures to increase, this is also called the greenhouse effect. Since the global temperatures will increase, ice in the polar regions will melt causing the water level to increase leading to an influx of problems.
