 T + R = 28

3T +5R = 110

    Multiply the first by -3 to eliminate T

-3T -3R =-84

3T + 5R = 110

    AD BOTH ( T will be cancelled)

 2R = 26

R = 13   (13 rabbits)

     28-13= 15 (15 turtles)

   

  13x5 = 65

  15x3 = 45

   13x5 =65

                     45+65 = $110
