Conflicted, smitten, reluctant
Angelica is quite the altruistic character in Hamilton, as she clearly puts her sister before herself. While she battles between wanting to be with Alexander, and wanting her sister to be happy, it creates a very conflicting song. Angelica soon realizes her mistake, and regrets "sizing him up so quickly," but stays away from Alexander out of respect for Eliza.
