Answer:

This sequence is an arithmetic sequence

For an nth term in an arithmetic sequence

U(n) = a + (n - 1 )d

a = first term

d = common difference

n = number of terms

From this sequence 1, 7, 13, 19

a = 1

d = 7-1 = 6

Therefore the nth term of the sequence is

U(n) = 1 + (n-1)6

= 1 + 6n - 6

= 6n - 5

The nth term of the sequence is 6n - 5

Hope this helps
