The perimeter of sasquare is 20 ft. If you increase the length of the square by 2 feet and decrease the width by 1 foot what is the area in square feet

perimeter of a square = 4s = 20ft
s = 20/4 = 5 feet

New length = 5 + 2 = 7 ft
New width = 5 - 1 = 4ft
New perimeter = 2(7 + 4) = 2(11) = 22ft
