Answer:

D = ]-∞ , -1/2[ U ]-1/2 , 3[ U ]3 , +∞[

Step-by-step explanation:

hello :

f(x) = x/(2x²-5x-3)

f exist for : 2x²-5x-3 ≠ 0

2x²-5x-3  = 0

∆ = b² -4ac      a=2  and b= -5  and  c= -3

∆ = (-5)² - 4(2)(-3) = 49 = 7²

X1 = (-b-√∆ )/2a  = (5-7)/4 = -1/2

X2 = (-b+√∆ )/2a  = (5+7)/4 = 3

the domain is : D = ]-∞ , -1/2[ U ]-1/2 , 3[ U ]3 , +∞[
