The formula for Area of a circle is =

[tex]\pi {r}^{2} [/tex]

So, the radius will be half of diameter, which is 6÷2,

The radius is 3,

A = 3.14 × 3×3

= 3.14 × 9

= 28.274

= π(3)^2

A= π9

You can also substitute in 3.14 for π or put in your calculator, the π symbol.
