Answer: x < -3
Explanation:

(2x)/3 is greater than 4x+10

(2x)/3 > 4x + 10

You want to isolate x on 1 side:

Multiply both sides by 3

=> 2x > 3 (4x + 10)
=> 2x > 12x + 30

Subtract 12x from both sides:
=> -10x > 30

Divide -10 from both sides. Note when multiplying or divide by a negative number in inequality, you must flip sign:

=> x < -3 for (2x)/3 to be greater than 4x+10

Check: plug in -6
2(-6) / 3 ? 4(-6)+ 10
-4 ? -14
-4 > -14

This inequality is valid.
