The period 3100 B.C is the period commonly given for the beginning of King Narmer's reign which was an essential period in Egyptian history, Narmer became the first king of Egypt who brought unification between the upper and lower parts of Egypt peacefully at the beginning of the First Dynastic Period. Ancient Egyptians themselves point out that the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt into one single kingdom in 3100 B.C was the genesis of their civilization.
