Activation energy is C) the energy needed to get a reaction started.

Enzymes lower the activation energy necessary in a reaction; however, activation energy is still necessary for every reaction to be completed.
Gibbs free energy, or the energy associated with a chemical reaction that can be used to do work, is independent and unchanged by the presence of an enzyme (changing amount of activation energy necessary for the reaction to unfold).

Hope this helps!
