Some of the recipients of the Steinbeck Award that I know of is Bruce Springsteen,John Sayles,Arthur Miller, there are a few more but I don't remember the rest of them.And the purpose of the award is designed to
recognize individuals and organizations, such as to preform acts of heroism or meritorious service. Hoped I helped :)
