Inorganic substances are usually held together by ionic bonds. Inorganic substances are substances that does not possess carbon atoms. They are made up of other elements and the chemical with which they operate is usually ionic [electrovalent] bond. Organic substances on the other hands possess carbon atoms as thie backbone. They are found in large quantities in living organisms.
